It’s a dark, creamy and rich full-bodied black beer overflowing with roasted espresso and dark chocolate flavors. It has a sweet, silky body from the wheat and oats often used in the grain bill.
That’s why CHOCOLATE MILK STOUT has been in the making for 4 years. It’s taken us that long to search out and procure the intensely delicious tobaccos needed to make this extremely special cigar!
Frankly, I'd need several hours, smoke at least 2 cigars, and a (very) generous pour of bourbon to fully tell you the amazing backstory of this blend. It's taken us literally years of searching--countless miles traveled--and going to some places you've never even heard of--to get the ultra-rare tobaccos that are in CHOCOLATE MILK STOUT!
I just gotta tell ya...the complexity of flavors in CHOCOLATE MILK STOUT are monumental! Seriously...it's even hard to describe some of the notes that we've detected in this phenomenal blend!
(In fact, the members of our super-secret tasting panel literally couldn’t believe the flavors that we achieved in CHOCOLATE MILK STOUT. When you get a reaction like that from top cigar blenders/makers…you know that it’s something EXTRA SPECIAL!)
But a word of warning...This is a cigar for the true aficionado! (The novice smoker probably needs to pass on this one!) The flavors and character are deep, heavy, and rich...with a complexity that is absolutely astounding!
I’ll tell you straight up…this cigar is an instant unicorn!
CHOCOLATE MILK STOUT is a full-bodied, med/full-strength 6x50 toro. Wrapper is an oily 12-year-aged San Andres Maduro leaf. Fillers will remain a very closely guarded secret...but they are all between 6-14 years aged!
First light is a massive wave of flavor! Dark chocolate, all-spice, dark brown sugar, and heavy cream rush across the palate. Hints of cinnamon stick, and mocha follow immediately after. The finish lingers long on the tongue with notes of nutmeg and vanilla bean. Retrohale adds a warming pepper burn.
As it progresses, the age of the tobacco starts to be tasted immediately. The flavor is hard to describe...but it's magnificent! Along with that are hints of raw cane sugar, bourbon barrel, and black pepper.
Halfway, the richness goes up another level. Caramel, cocoa nibs, milk chocolate, and aged leather emerge. Hints of cocoa, macadamia nuts, and clove appear.
Last third, everything gets even more intense! Blasts of ultra-dark chocolate appear. Powdered sugar, walnuts, star anise, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and butter. The last third of this cigar could possibly be the most complex flavors I've ever experienced in a cigar!
